趙煜之墓 (* 趙煜生平 可預覽 “ 廣肇先賢 ” )

趙煜字煜榮，號燦庭，廣東台山龍溪村人。約生于道光 23 年 (1843) ，卒於光緒 18 年 (1892)11 月 2 日，享年 50 歲。

先賢趙煜君，不獨創建會館，具有殊勳。組織雪隆廣肇會館初期，租老巴塞4 號，後遷往暗邦律13 和15 號，但因會場狹小，不足以應付環境之需求，乃由趙煜、王春臨等人倡建會館。當時趙煜君捐出一段地用來建會館，還免息借出9000 元購買建材。 本會館為崇功報德，特在章程中，明文規定，每年春秋二祭送回150 元祭費予趙煜後人，此紀念維持至31/12/2000 終止。同時，本會館每年春秋祭祀時，董事及會員亦聯同前往趙公墳前拜祭，俎豆馨香，將與會館同垂不朽！

2001 年， 本會與吉隆坡廣東義山合資美化趙煜墓園工程。美化趙煜墓園竣工典禮上，邀請拿督陳財和副部長主持開幕儀式。出席的包括國會議員方貴倫、吉隆坡廣東義山主席郭達明、雪隆廣肇會館會長李振光、趙煜孫女趙絮柳及董事等人。

除趙煜君外，百多年來，復賴已故陸佑、葉觀盛、陸秋傑、張郁才、廖榮枝、辛百卉、陳永、黃發、梁湘廷、歐陽利、陳占梅、劉贊臣、辛厚慈、黃寶之、曹堯煇、梁長齡、龍裕源、楊思齊、辛官政、黃祖耀、陳德熾、甄國燦、梁致云、陳泰楷、霍應培、丘壽恩、趙如南、黃譚順、陳志雄、蘇炳佳等君之不辭勞苦，同心協力，故能把會務發揚光大，蔚成今日之規模。

In memory of our special ancestor- Zhao Yu’s graveyard

Originated from China, Taishan, Long Xi. Born 1843 and passed away in 1892 at the age of 50.

In 1887 Zhao Yu and Wong Chun Lum decided to form the Selangor Kwong Siew association. Zhao Yu personally donated a piece of land to use as the association premises. He even loaned out an amount of RM9,000.00 plus free of interests, to the association for operating expenses.

To show appreciation for the great contribution of the late Zhao Yu the association has included in the constitution two payments of worshipping fee of RM150.00 each in spring and autumn every year to his dependents. This memorial fee will end on the 31st December 2000. At the same time during the “spring and autumn festival” each year, committee and ordinary members visit Zhao Yu’s graveyard and pay homage to him.

In 2001, Kwong Tong cemetery Kuala Lumpur cooperated with Selangor& Federal Territory Kwong Siew association in the beautification of Zhao Yu’s graveyard. When we had finished the beautification of the graveyard we invited the Deputy Minister Tan Chai Ho to a special ceremony and officiated the occasion. Other dignitaries were also invited. They were the Member of Parliament for Bukit Bintang YB Fong Kui Lun; Kwong Tong Cemetery Kuala Lumpur President Mr Kok Tat Min; Selangor & Federal Territory President Mr Lee Chun Kong and committee members and Zhao Yu’s grand daughter.

Over the past century, besides Zhao Yu’s great contributions to the association, there were numerous other people who had helped and expanded Kwong Siew association to become a grand association today. They were Loke Yew, Yap Kwan Seng, Cheong Yoke Choy, …………….

All these people were not afraid of hard work and were willing to help one another build the association to its high present status today.
